Chris Brown was recently honored online by Nick Cannon after he said the R&B singer was a combination of the iconic Michael Jackson and rapper Tupac.

Nick says Breezy’s musical journey and talent can be compared to the infamous headlines made by both entertainers.

Via Music Times:

He further praised the “Zero” singer and compared his experince in the spotlight to that of Jackson and Tupac.

“A lot of times we don’t realize or acknowledge our treasures while we still have them with us. We wait until they are gone to appreciate their power. Think about how much everyone attacked MJ and 2Pac while they were alive… I don’t think I have ever witnessed someone more gifted, who has overcome so much and still growing and learning daily.”

Brown is currently prepping his seventh studio album, Royalty. Just last week, he shared the cover art for the album, which he named after his daughter. It has been reported that Royalty will drop on Black Friday (Nov. 27). The release date was revealed during an announcement on Hot 97’s Nessa and Camilo show. The album will be Brown’s second project for 2015, following a collaborative album Fan of a Fan back in February with Tyga, and his seventh solo studio effort.
