Drake was approximately 19 when he and Noah “40” Shebib moved to Los Angeles to work as songwriters for Dr. Dre and his Aftermath Entertainment, according to a new book.
Drake discusses writing for Dr. Dre and Aftermath Entertainment in John Seabrook’s book, The Song Machine: Inside The Hit Factory, which was released in October.
Seabrook says during an interview that was published with DJBooth today (January 13) that Drake was approximately 19 when he and Noah “40” Shebib moved to Los Angeles to work as songwriters for Dr. Dre and his Aftermath Entertainment.
