Well you can thank global warming for that, as the ozone later is being thinned out due to emissions from planes, cars, boats, trains, and trucks. We only have ourselves to blame!
This day is aimed to help shift the orbit of the earth, and hopefully come up with a standardized climate. Notice how everything is pushing to be electric and to stop burning up the fumes.
