According to Cleveland scene, there is a Crime Gun Intelligence Center to open in Cleveland.
What is a crime gun?
A crime gun is a weapon that was suspected to have been used to commit a crime and is recovered by aw enforcement.
As of today authorities have seized around 240 firearms, more than 200 were bought from illegal sellers.
There were even 17 ghost guns, which are untraceable firearms, without serial numbers, and even 20 switches (the guns that convert to semi-automatic firearms or fully-automatic weapons).
A CGIC will hopefully help to cause a disruption from illegal guns being used on the streets.
Reports also say the 5% of gun dealers are responsible for 90% of recovered crime guns.
They are hoping this will help to reduce a number of illegal guns being sold to help reduce the violent crime rate in Cleveland.
