Ayesha Curry turned heads the other day with some comments that many have deemed strange, especially considering her position within basketball royalty.
For those who don’t know, many consider the Curry’s, that is Steph, Ayesha, and their three young children, to be the First Family of the NBA. However it was Ayesha stirring the pot while on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk show that’s sent the Twittersphere into a tailspin.
While speaking on the success of her husband, and about how she’s had to fend off his groupies time and time again over the past decade, she then described the insecurities she’s experienced that seemingly have stemmed from what she perceives as a lack of male attention.
Say what? The wife of one of the most famous basketball faces of all time, who has millions of social media followers and dollars in her bank account is sad because she doesn’t get enough male attention? Isn’t she married?!

Curry says the lack of attention has made her question if something is wrong with her.
While Curry’s comments on groupies had already been seen in a teaser video, it was what she had to say about male attention that got people upset. As she explains in the episode, she doesn’t get very much attention from men, which had made her insecure about herself. She is constantly comparing herself to Steph in that regard, which has forced her to reflect inward.
