Rapper Rick Ross is adding restaurant owner to his business resume. The Maybach Music CEO is investing his money in a national franchise called Wingstop. Ross plans to open his first location in Memphis in a strip mall on Winchester.
In a recent news release, Wingstop corporate said Ross brings a huge fan base to their concept and brand they hope to grow in Memphis. Ross said, “After tasting Wingstop’s signature lemon pepper-flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments.”
Ross will open several other Wingstop locations at some point in the future. Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman is also a Wingstop franchise owner.
