Stalley returned to his hometown of Massillon, Ohio to shoot his video for the already-buzzing single “Swangin,” featuring Scarface.
MMG brothers Rick Ross, Rookie Fresh and Omarion in tow, Stalley displayed some of this favorite things: vintage cars, fly sneakers, and of course, Ohio sportswear.
It would have been complete with a scene in Stalley’s alma mater, Washington High, but was denied access to film there due to his lyrical content.
Local superintendent Rik Goodright issued a statement, saying ”As part of the Massillon community, the district appreciates that Kyle Myricks (Stalley) continues to show Massillon pride through his work and frequent visits to his hometown.
“However, because of the nature of some of his lyrics, we feel it is in our best interest to decline the use of our facilities. As a school district, we must think of our students and parents first, many of whom are concerned about student safety. ”
Cleveland Cavs DJ and Z1079 Personality DJ Steph Floss made an appearance as well. (To the far right.)
Stalley then traveled to Houston to shoot the rest of the video with legendary MC Scarface, who has a dope verse on the song as well.
