“Basketball Wives” is back and that means more drama than basketball or actual marriage. Evelyn Lozada bravely appeared on the new season in Miami, speaking with her therapist about the domestic violence she faced with then-husband, Chad Ochocinco.
Evelyn hasn’t been too vocal about her struggle with being married to Chad. Now, on the new season, she’s choosing to open up. “I never thought that Evelyn was going to be perfect or that Chad was going to be perfect. I get it. Relationships are hard, especially ours. We’re public and what we do puts more strain on the relationship, but I’m like, you didn’t even try. I don’t care if my marriage was the laughing stock of the world,” Evelyn candidly spoke with her therapist.
When Evelyn told him that she would never have kids with him, Chad lost it. “He just flipped. It was like he blacked,” Evelyn revealed of the night she ended up being abused by Chad.
